Performance And Experience

All's Well
With the first step, the weight of the sagging skin pulled me back. Every movement felt heavy and slow, as if my body was dragging behind me. The loose skin shifted with each step, making it hard to move. Walking became tiring. My breath grew unsteady. The weight didn’t let me forget it was there.
After a while, I couldn’t keep going. My body begged for rest. I stopped, shoulders sinking. Sitting down wasn’t easy. The skin folded, pressed, and pooled around me, melting like wax. For a moment, I just sat there, feeling the weight settle, as if my body was dissolving into the ground.
But I had to get up. Lifting myself was a struggle. My body felt even heavier, drained, empty. The skin still clung to me, but now it felt different, not just weight, but something lost. My steps were slower, my movements weaker. Each step forward felt like moving through deep water, leaving behind something I couldn’t name.
